I was VERY lucky I was able to get a bus ticket to Kyoto this coming Monday. I HOPE everything is in full bloom but I think it might be a little early. But I think next weekend could be to late, so... I'm taking my chances. After picking up my ticket I rode around a little before work and had another picnic under the sakura.
